How does escrow / payment protection work?

Your money never enters an Anadolu Gateway account. When you confirm an order, you transfer funds into a blocked sub-account at your own bank in Ghana — GCB, Stanbic, or Ecobank — and it stays under your bank's control. Once the Turkish supplier ships your order, Anadolu Gateway verifies the shipping documents (bill of lading, certificate of origin, quality certificate) and issues a signed Release Authorization Letter to your bank. Your bank then sends the funds directly to the supplier's bank via SWIFT. AG is not a payment intermediary — we only verify the paperwork that triggers the release.

How are suppliers verified before they're listed?

No supplier appears on GoldBazarr automatically. Every Turkish company is reviewed by the Anadolu Gateway team — we check trade records, factory capacity, export history, and certifications before a profile goes live. Verified suppliers carry a green "Verified" badge on their profile, and many also display ISO or other quality certifications.

What does it cost to use GoldBazarr?

Browsing the marketplace, requesting a match, and creating a buyer or investor account are completely free. Turkish suppliers can list a Verified profile for $199 (one-time), get Featured placement plus a WCI Forum 2026 booth for $499 (one-time), or work with our Business Development team for full market entry from $1,500 per engagement. Is the supplier fee a one-time payment? What do I get for it?

Yes — the $199 Verified and $499 Featured packages are one-time fees, not subscriptions. The Verified package covers manual vetting and a permanent Verified badge on your marketplace profile. The Featured package adds priority placement in search results, a featured badge, and a booth slot at WCI Forum 2026. Neither package auto-renews or bills you again.

What happens after I register?

After completing the registration form, you'll be signed in and redirected to your dashboard, where you can complete your company profile, upload certifications or product listings (suppliers), or start browsing verified suppliers and submitting match requests (buyers and investors). If you registered for a paid package, our team will follow up by WhatsApp or email to complete verification.

How does matching work?

Tell us what you're looking for — a Turkish supplier, an African distributor, an investment opportunity, or trade finance / export support — using the Find a Match form. The Anadolu Gateway team reviews your request and connects you with relevant, vetted partners. There's no charge to submit a match request.

Question 7

What happens if there's a dispute with an order?

Because your funds stay in a blocked account at your own bank until shipping documents are verified, you're never out of pocket while a dispute is open. If a problem arises — wrong goods, quality issues, missing documents — contact Anadolu Gateway directly. We review the order documentation with both parties and only issue a Release Authorization once the issue is resolved or the goods are confirmed as agreed.

How is my data handled? Are you GDPR / KVKK compliant?

We collect only the information needed to verify your business and connect you with trade partners — company details, contact information, and trade documentation. Your data is never sold to third parties. We process personal data in line with applicable data protection principles, including the EU GDPR and Turkey's KVKK (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu). Can I cancel my registration or get a refund?

Buyer and investor accounts are free, so there's nothing to cancel. For paid supplier packages (Verified, Featured, Business Development), see our Refund & Cancellation Policy on the Packages page — in short, you can request a full refund before verification work begins, and a pro-rated refund if the agreed deliverables haven't been provided yet.
